Kiev city Council has written to the government of Moscow the letter in which has notified on unilateral cancellation of all the earlier signed agreements on twinning, partnership and cooperation between Kiev and Moscow.

The corresponding document was published in Facebook by the Deputy of Kyiv city mayor - Secretary of Kyiv city Council Volodymyr Prokopiv, reports «GLORY TO UKRAINE»ICF.

As stated in the text of the document, the decision was made due to "military aggression of Russia against Ukraine, annexation of Crimea and occupation of part of the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions".

The decision was taken by city Council on February 12.
