Today, having heard the reports of the operational services of the interior Ministry, taking into account the information provided by the SBU - I made a decision open to appeal to each of you.
According to operational services in the next few days we will have to survive several attempts of the destructive anti-Ukrainian forces to destabilize the situation in the country.
The Ministry of internal Affairs And SBU have information about impending terrorist attacks and provocations with the use of firearms and military weapons and explosives in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and other cities of the country.
With the series of terrorist attacks in Europe, the revitalization of the occupying forces in the East of the country, given the high risk of a terrorist threat, I made a decision to transfer all law enforcement agencies on high alert.
Taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and ensuring the safe functioning of key infrastructure and lifelines.
I ask each of you to understand the increased security measures in public places, on transport, on the roads of the country for the stopping cars, checking documents and cars. This is done for security.
I ask each of you to be attentive in places of mass events and actions and immediately informing law enforcement agencies about the persons whose behavior is suspect or suspicious objects, weapons, the abandoned Luggage. In all these cases, please immediately contact the nearest police or to call by phone 102.
Separately appeal to political forces, public organizations, realizing their constitutional right, plan to spend the next few days in mass protests, rallies and events.
The national police of Ukraine and the national guard of Ukraine are ready to ensure the rule of law and security on those shares subject to the organizers and all participants of the safety standards - in close cooperation with police officers. We will not and do not want to limit your constitutional right to protest and political position, but we want to ensure your safety and the safety of other citizens.
Specifically appeal to the protesters who holds the stock in the center of the capital. Your forms of protest are extremely vulnerable to provocations and terrorist risks. You are responsible for the safety of people. I ask you to take all the necessary decisions to ensure that there was not the slightest opportunity to use your constitutional right to protest as a cover for the execution of a terrorist act. The price of human life is too high. Let us in these difficult days together to think about safety!
We have enough strength, knowledge and responsibility. I am sure that the responsibility of each of us, each in its place - will not allow to destabilize the provocations and terrorist acts the situation in the country and in the next few days we will be able to eliminate all threats from anti-Ukrainian forces that are known to the police.
