Famous Russian writer Boris Akunin tried one word to describe their perceptions of today's Russia, and the word is "fragility".

This Akunin wrote on his page on the social network Facebook.

There is an old way to understand any phenomenon, or feeling that is difficult to understand: to remove all what matters and leave only one code, one word, which, as a key, you can open this stubborn door.

I often use this method in the work – for example, when it is necessary to understand the essence of a character. Sometimes, it is used in life.

Here asked himself: what is today's Russia? What single word or concept can most accurately convey my current feeling about her? What component determines the main?

And it turned out that Russia today is "Fragility". Here the smell that comes today from the country; that feeling which, in my opinion, experiencing all of its inhabitants. Like, living in the area seismic conditions.

Here, indeed, was all fragile.

A state that either continues, or crumble.

The government, which constantly frightens the residents and at the same time she is frightened of her own shadow.

A tired ruler who built a system where he's scared to retire.

The winners, the hosts of life – all these grabbers officials and "state oligarchs" - who know perfectly well that at any time can lose.
Medium and small entrepreneurs, not confident that will be able to leave their business and property of children.

Employees who do not understand what will happen tomorrow with their work, and the day after with their pension.

And a lot of people who do not know, whether they live in their own country or leave.

And "Iskander" with "maces" that's so funny that they can, with laughter nowhere and will not fly or not fly there.

Economy, national currency, oil and gas, and the Caucasus.

All precarious, all uncertain. No one makes long plans. And most of all fear of the future those who belong to the present.
