Pasha, you were appointed commander in March. Easily agreed to take on such a responsibility

I saw the commander, surprised, hugged and said, "Return to the ATO?" "I'll be back," he said. Then he was asked to be the battalion commander. I thanked for the rendered trust. At first it was hard. Many officers older than me. But, nevertheless, we found a common language.

- The picture included in the calendar of the "Cyborgs" placed after your wounds. You have a gauze bandage on his head. How you were injured?

- In the Sands we are constantly fired. Around regularly were exploding mines. Covered and artillery. That day, too, rushed close by. The pieces I got hit. It happened on Monday, and on Thursday I had to go in the airport. Apparently, not destiny... One shard remained in his leg until now. Out of my head got big and stayed small. And in the right hand shard broke a bone, tore his tendons. The doctors had to do surgery to connect all the spokes, Paul shows his hand - the brush cuts a huge scar.

- Why you joined the military?

- In the childhood I was, what's a nice way and without strong words, very twisted. Then popular was the series "Brigada". I also wanted everything at once. Thought: why work, something to do with power? Mom is apparently afraid of how I would not stuck somewhere, sent me to military school. Father did not object. He served in the army at the border. Initially, of course, it was very difficult. Early rises, iron discipline. But sports and competitions are delayed. However, the platoon we had a immoral person, parents have used for their own purposes. Still can't forgive him for some things.

- After Lyceum deliberately went into the army?

- And newsmakers! When I first jumped with a parachute, I realized - it's mine. And jumped with a broken hand and injured her in the championship of Ukraine in the heptathlon. During the jump I felt adrenaline, I liked it. It was the year 2004. In 2009 he graduated from the Odessa Institute of land forces, and then fell into the 95-th brigade of Zhitomir.

- There was a feeling that Ukraine will be a war?

- No. Although every day we were preparing for war. But not on its territory. I thought maybe going to Iraq, Yugoslavia, Liberia, will participate in peacekeeping missions.

- What was the most frightening thing for almost two years of the war?

- Losing friends, fighters, to call and inform parents and the death of children. These are irreparable losses. NAT already many of my friends, with whom studied together, served... we Have some crazy issue. All are fighting. No one was "cut", not funked... One just left the army, but that was before the war.

Pasha, we are going to win?

- I Wang? - with his usual humor meets Pavel Ivanovich. - All depends on who is commander of the army and how what reforms will be undertaken and how soon. Positive developments in securing the form, the weaponry is already there. It is clear that not all in such quantities as we would like. But the movement is. At this point we can give a good answer to the enemy. And we give it. I would like to get the special equipment, more modern weapons, equipment. In this we limp. But the main thing - the power of the spirit troops. The Russians did not expect that resistance will be so fierce.
