Ukrainians, not wanting to become part of Russia, deserve help from the U.S. in the form of defensive weapon, which cannot yet more to provoke the aggressor.

This was stated by U.S. Republican Senator John McCain in an interview with the Euronews TV channel, passes the Censor.NO with reference to UKRINFORM.

"What makes today Vladimir Putin? They took the Crimea, has strengthened its position in Eastern Ukraine, in the last couple of weeks have brought back more tanks and weapons. Killed more than four thousand Ukrainian soldiers. And you don't want to provoke Putin!" said the Senator, answering the question about the possible reaction of Moscow to the U.S. arms deliveries to Ukraine.

According to him, Putin's plan now is: "for the First time since the end of world war II in Europe is a section of the state, and we don't want to give them (Ukraine - ed) weapons to defend itself."

While McCain said: "Those 300 thousand people, which I saw on the Maidan in the cold, now, they don't want to become part of Russia, they don't want the partition of their country, and they deserve our help in the form of arms".
He reiterated that we should not worry, do not provoke this step Vladimir Putin even more.
