Vice-President of the USA said that the American side will help Ukraine in strengthening its security.

"I say clearly: Ukraine has every right to defend themselves against the aggression that continues, and we provide Ukraine assistance in strengthening security to support these efforts," said J. Biden on the eve of his visit to Ukraine in an interview with the newspaper "Day", according to the Censor NO.

According to him, the U.S. is also working closely with allies and partners around the world, with the purpose to condemn the aggression of Russia and together with partners in Europe and the "Big seven" forced Russia to pay a serious price."

"I will bring a strong message of support for the Ukrainian people and the government, about which I shall say more while in Kiev," said Biden.

"We will continue to be together with the people of Ukraine, which demonstrates the enduring will entered protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity, promoting the difficult reforms, developing democracy, pursuing the fight against corruption, and restoring economic health," said Vice-President of the USA.

"From the beginning we very clearly said that this crisis has no military solution - despite the fact that Russia, obviously, it just tries to throw with his henchmen in Eastern Ukraine", - said J. Biden.

He expressed his belief that the conflict in Ukraine is called "direct Russian aggression". "We know that the separatists, many of them recruited in Russia - get heavy military equipment, training and funding from the Russian government. In addition, the Russian combat units with Russian weapons, Russian tanks crossed the border of Ukraine and directly helped the separatists to fight with the Ukrainian military", - said the Vice-President of the USA.

He also expressed hope that Ukraine will be implemented necessary reforms and the U.S. in this way will help the Ukrainian people. "Now, when Parliament is preparing for its first meeting, it is vital to meet the expectations of reforms in different sectors, such as energy, agriculture, regulatory practice in the field of entrepreneurship", he said and added that the U.S. is ready to provide additional support to the economy, reform and strengthening of the security of Ukraine.
