The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the concept of urgent measures for the reform of the interior Ministry and the development strategy of the bodies of internal Affairs. This reports the press service of the interior Ministry.

It is noted that the government approved three normative act, which implemented the provisions of the concept of police reform. Among them - the draft law governing the question of the possibility of the elimination of the departments of the cdoc, transport and veterinary police, etc. the Cabinet of Ministers considered and adopted the draft resolution, which introduced the compulsory wearing of the badge.

"This will allow you to easily identify each police officer, who is in the performance of official duties," said the interior Ministry.

In addition, approved the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, aimed at depriving the police departments of the functions of the administrative services, the introduction of auto-commit violations of traffic rules, the provision of patrol service of the police powers gosudarstvnutrivennoe inspection to ensure road safety in communities.

"This act provides for the experiment on the basis of the traffic police, Khmelnytsky. In the experiment, will be joining forces traffic police and patrol services into a single unit," - said the press service.

The above-mentioned normative act also specifies tasks for the Ministry of internal Affairs for the preparation of a legal framework for such associations across the country. After pretreatment regulations will be submitted for signature to the Prime Minister.

"In Ukraine initiated the strategic reform of the police. Thanks to her, instead of punitive authority will be created modern European law enforcement Agency whose mission is to serve and protect," added the Ministry of interior.

Earlier, the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, announcing changes in the structure of the interior Ministry, said that the reform of the police plan to eliminate the Department and the traffic police in its present form will serve outside of cities.
