
Ahead of parliamentary elections in Ukraine, the U.S. Embassy issued a statement

"The United States stands ready to work with all political parties and leaders who reject such techniques and work in the name of the successful expression on 26 October," the Embassy said.
"The United States will continue to support the efforts of the Ukrainian people to determine their future in Europe and to build a more cohesive, safe, independent, and prosperous Ukraine. We also remain committed to working with Ukraine and other partners for the sake of finding a peaceful resolution to the current conflict in the East of Ukraine," the statement stresses.
