According to the head of the defense Ministry, the situation in the country requires to make decisions about the procurement and inventory of the Mat three times faster than now

Defence Minister Stephen Poltorak has instructed the officials of the defense Ministry and the General staff immediately to make changes in existing legal documents governing the terms of providing the troops with new weapons, military equipment and logistics property. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of defence.

"The situation in the country requires at least three times faster to make decisions about the comprehensive support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and especially the military, performing combat missions in the area of antiterrorist operations," Poltorak said.

In his words, "the elimination of bureaucratic barriers that impede the rapid deployment of the latest weapons, equipment and sample logistics, is a requirement of the President of Ukraine, and expectations of thousands of military personnel performing combat missions in the East. Therefore, in the Ministry of defence are practical steps to resolve the existing problems".

Poltorak said that the defense Ministry is interested in purchasing a modular tents of American manufacturing. In his opinion, with this equipment you can expand barracks, command post items, mobile hospitals and operating rooms.

"The offered products are tested by the troops from many countries of the world, therefore, it is of interest to the Ukrainian military. The quality of the products will be assessed on additional requirements, and after the appropriate tests will be made a decision about its purchase," - said the Minister.

Recall, October 15, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed the Poltorak to eliminate bureaucratic obstacles in support of the Armed Forces until October 23.
