The U.S. state Department do not exclude a new wave of Russian aggression in Donbas and promised a tough response in case of such scenario.

This was stated by the Deputy head of the U.S. Department of state Daniel fried in the air Polish TVN24 BiS" notes"Censor.NET" with reference to UNIAN.

"Any movement of Russian troops will face a strong response," he said. We must be ready to increase the pressure, if Russia will resort to aggressive actions on a larger scale".

Frid also stressed that the failure of Russia of the Minsk agreements by the end of this year will lead to strengthening of the already imposed sanctions, noting the agreement on this issue with the EU: "Europe, fortunately, more United and more focused than many thought. Europe has introduced and maintains sanctions".

The Deputy head of the US state Department also called premature talk of a possible lifting of sanctions against Russia: "I would like to see a situation where Russia has complied with the Minsk agreement and (we) begin to lift the sanctions. Now we are not yet at this stage".
