The Crimea was and remains part of Ukraine therefore any strengthening of military activity in its territory will be considered as attempt to undermine peace process of settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
About it I noted during a briefing in Washington the U.S. State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki, the Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform. "Any Russian military exercises and expansion of the weapon in the territory of the Crimea which is part of Ukraine, will undermine even more implementation of the subsequent peace diplomatic solutions of crisis which was untied by Russia, having begun power capture and occupation of the Ukrainian peninsula", - Psaki answered, commenting on the message on expansion by Russia of military forces and arms in the Crimea.
The representative of State Department confirmed that in Washington saw these messages and watch closely development of a situation on a place, however "have no confirmations from independent sources yet". She emphasized that the position of the States remains firm: "We note that the Crimea remains the sovereign Ukrainian territory and we don't recognize annexation attempt" .
