Money of the first tranche of the credit of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) started arriving into accounts of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in National bank.

Ligabiznesnesinform reported to the correspondent about it in the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

"Money started coming into accounts of the Ministry of Finance to NBU. It is planned that the NBU will receive $2,2 billion, the Ministry of Finance - $2,8 billion", - reported in the press service. There specified that the tranche will arrive until the end of day.

We will remind, yesterday the Minister of Finance Natalya Yaresko reported that Ukraine will receive the first tranche of financial aid from the IMF already on March 13. According to her, the size of the first tranche will make about $5 billion from which $2,2 billion will be directed to National Bank, and $2,8 billion - to the government.

On March 11, the board of directors of the IMF approved the new four-year credit Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for $17,5 billion, or 12,348 SDR, instead of earlier existing stand-by program for $17 billion.

It is planned that Ukraine will receive $10 billion in 2015.
