The president Petro Poroshenko during a working trip in Donetsk region in the city of Artemivsk visited an arrangement of the Ukrainian military who were rearranged from Debaltseve. The president thanked the Ukrainian soldiers for courage.

The head of state handed the state awards and informed on assignment of a rank of the Hero of Ukraine for the shown heroism in protection of territorial integrity and the sovereignty and high professionalism during military operations to Debaltseve to the commander of the 128th Mukachevsky mountain infantry crew Sergey Shaptale. 

"Mister colonel and all staff, thank you for model performance of a fighting task, for courage and heroism which you showed within 6 months. Today is proud of you not only Mukachevo and Zakarpatye, and all Ukraine", - Petro Poroshenko declared.

The head of state examined an arrangement of the Ukrainian military who were rearranged from Debaltseve, and communicated to them.

The president also held meeting with the military management.
