The Kremlin broke implementation of the Minsk agreements and on the eve of anniversary of murders on the Maidan tries to provoke in Ukraine a wave of mass protests

The Russian troops and mercenaries entered the city of Debaltsevo. Fighters managed to break, having destroyed one of strong points round the city. Now fights go on Debaltsevo's streets. Information on break of troops and fights on city streets was confirmed by the General Staff and the Department of Internal Affairs of Donetsk region.

Without support of heavy artillery the Ukrainian troops couldn't constrain a stream of the Russian troops and mercenaries on one of the directions - the enemy takes numerical advantage and covers the approach with a massive gun-fire. In days around Debaltsevo not less than 60 blows by jet artillery systems, apart from heavy barreled artillery and mortars were struck. The Ukrainian party uses only mortars.

Now parts of the Ukrainian army conduct street battles in Debaltsevo. The Russian troops completely destroyed city department of militia and many objects of infrastructure of the city. Fighters and mercenaries burn buildings, without reckoning with losses among the civil. Communication with the city is practically absent. One of military who as a part of a column tried to break through an environment from Lugansk reported about a situation in the city of L_gab_znes_nform.

According to the interlocutor, fighters shoot and actually keep both roads to Debaltsevo - both the main route, and a bypass road through Lower Lozovoye. In the latter case the Russian troops occupied height which allows to conduct aim fire on the passing equipment columns. The bad road and the open district do VSU columns by an ideal target for the Russian troops and mercenaries.

Number of troops

By estimates from different sources, the group of the Ukrainian troops in Debaltsevo and round the city makes from 2 to 3 thousand people. According to the interrogated interlocutors in power departments, didn't remain to time for command execution about withdrawal of troops from Debaltsevo. "If to remove right now, losses will be catastrophic. Support in some thousands of fighters is necessary to break through an environment and to leave on the route", - those who is familiar with a situation in the city state.

Obvious problem - lack of reserves which could help troops to organize an exit from the blocked city. The group of the Ukrainian military under Debaltsevo was taken hostage. The General Staff confirmed this information. "The column of the Ukrainian equipment at implementation of cargo delivery for the military conducting military operations on the Debaltsevsky base was ambushed. The group of maintenance under the leadership of the lieutenant Dmitry Kebecha accepted battle, but after the termination of a unit of fire and destruction of their armored troop-carrier by superior forces of the opponent was captured. According to the available information, one of military is seriously injured", - it is told in the message.

In the General Staff don't speak about a critical situation in Debaltsevo, but confirm street fights. "Fighters attack the city assault groups with assistance of artillery and armored machinery. The part of the settlement is captured by bandits. Now anti-terrorist operation forces make maneuver by divisions and fire constrain aggression of the opponent", - claim in GSh. However, by estimates from various sources, the Russian mercenaries control not part, but the most part of the city. Strong points which are in the country, one by one appear in an environment.

What's next

The European Union and the USA urged Russia to cease immediately fire in Debaltsevo and to take away troops from the city. However the artillery of the Russian Federation continues massive attack and storm of positions of VSU. The Minsk agreements are violated by Moscow. In Presidential Administration noted that Russia doesn't carry out the arrangement and destroys chance of the world. "Unfortunately, the Russian Federation and so-called LNR and DNR of the arrangement don't carry out. Actually the hope for the world collapses, and such succession of events leads to further escalation and, obviously, to return to other scenario", - the presidentns deputy chief of staff Valery Chaliy declared.

Politicians from various political camps say that "directors in the Kremlin" in strike against Debaltsevo try to loosen a situation in Ukraine on the eve of February 18-21 - the most terrible days of Revolution of advantage. If the opponent manages to take prisoner or to destroy group of the Ukrainian military in three thousand people, it, on an idea of Moscow which committed breach of the peace in Donbass has to provoke new mass protests, undermine authority of the president Poroshenko and create prerequisites for chaos and overthrow of the power in Ukraine.

It is necessary only to remind that the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko promised to impose the martial law in Ukraine if the Minsk agreements don't yield result. Judging by events in Debaltsevo, Russia isn't going to stop war in Donbass and will continue to bomb the cities of Ukraine. There isn't a lot of further scenarios. "Options two. They will capture Debaltsevo, prisoners and will stop. The second option - will go to Artemovsk, Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk. In the same place all nearby - 20-40 km", - one of deputies of the coalition in parliament shared the opinion.

The western allies of Ukraine, judging by their statements, don't trust in such scenario yet and count that the Minsk agreements will yield result. Meanwhile the Ukrainian troops in Debaltsevo with the last bit of strength conduct city battles and reflect attacks of the Russian troops and mercenaries.
