The Ministry of defence prepares the text of the Memorandum of cooperation and understanding with great Britain.

This was stated by Minister of defense Colonel-General Stepan Poltorak during a meeting with extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of great Britain to Ukraine Simon Smith and the Director of the Department of international security policy of the UK Ministry of defence Nick Herr, according to the Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Ministry reported.

Mr. Herr assured Stepan Poltorak that Ukraine can count on full support in their quest for independence. "A deep respect for the soldiers who defend their land, admire their courage and heroism," said he.

In addition, during the meeting the sides discussed perspectives of cooperation, in particular, civil-military and professional training in military and military-technical spheres, further humanitarian and logistical assistance for the needs of the departments Mat that performs tasks in the area of the ATO.
