
The president Petro Poroshenko held more than five-hour negotiations with the Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and the president of France François Hollande.

According to department, the parties supported peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donetsk and Lugansk areas and hoped, as Russia is interested in it.
"Petro Poroshenko, Angela Merkel and François Hollande discussed ways of implementation of the Minsk arrangements which are a basis of a resolution of conflict and acquired the general offers of rather further steps", - is told in the message .
Besides it is noted that three leaders called for immediate ceasefire, a conclusion of foreign troops from Ukraine, to branch of heavy machinery and arms, closing of border and release of all hostages.
The president Poroshenko urged the European leaders to promote release of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko.
The parties also discussed possibilities of development of dialogue in the Norman .
