In Odessa with the assistance of the Minister of Defence Stepan Poltorak and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada in Ukraine Roman Vashchuk the ceremony of transfer to the Ukrainian military of 48 containers of humanitarian aid from the government of Canada took place.

"The colonel general Poltorak together with mister Vashchuk personally checked quality and reliability received footwear and regimentals. The Minister of Defence of Ukraine thanked the Canadian partners for effective cooperation and the powerful help in providing the Ukrainian military personnel with regimentals and footwear", - it is told in the message.

The Minister of Defence told that military clothes and footwear from Canada came to Ukraine in some stages. "We already gave part of parties to our soldiers in the east of the country, still the part will be sent by the motor transport soon also to zone ATO, and the others will be distributed for needs of the military called during the fourth wave of mobilization", - Poltorak .

Roman Vashchuk emphasized that the Canadian party systemically approaches questions of the help to the Ukrainian military, and, of course, similar practice will proceed.

"Today we gave to the Ukrainian friends about 70000 couples boots with high berets and more than 30000 sets of a uniform. But on it our interaction does not come to an end. The government of Canada now structurally works on mechanisms of their realization. In particular, it concerns transfer to the Ukrainian party of a certain number of individual medical first-aid kits, devices for cybersafety and thermal imagers. We saw how it is honest and transparent redistribution transferred to needs of the Ukrainian military humanitarian freights proceeds, and are adjusted on further fruitful interaction in this direction", - the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine .
