Within the last days Russian-terrorist troops continued active actions near the Debaltsevsky base.

From attempts of creation of a copper by cutting of ways of supply at base "mouth", the opponent passed to tactics of "replacement" of the Ukrainian troops from this area. The blow is struck to two meeting directions through N of the item of Chernukhino and Uglegorsk directly on Debaltsevo with the purpose to force the Ukrainian divisions which are in the city and to the south of it to depart on the North.
Action of at least 4 tactical groups of terrorists and Russian mercenaries who try to interact among themselves is at the moment noted and to organize the coordinated approach. Thus two tactical groups work on Uglegorsk the direction, one – on Chernukhino's direction, and in the direction from Nikishino carries out frontal "pressure" one more tactical group of fighters. In total near the Debaltsevsky base at the moment participates in active actions from the opponent about 3,5 thousand people, 35 tanks, about 90 armored combat vehicles (ACV).
Actions of data of 4 tactical groups of Russian-terrorist troops are supported by 3 artillery groups (to only 60 tools of barreled artillery and about 32 RSZO installations).
The next attempt of storm of N of the item of Debaltsevo from Russian-terrorist troops ended with failure. In particular, command of the formation of Russian-terrorist troops deployed in the region of N of the item Gorlovka ("Gorlovsky garrison" of terrorists) received command from "command of DNR" to allocate part of forces and means in structure of one of striking forces which came through Uglegorsk earlier (bypassing it to the north, working from the suburb of Gorlovka), for attack to Debaltsevo. "The Gorlovsky garrison" allocated an armored group (to 15 units of armored machinery, including 7 tanks) which part (at least 3 tanks and 2 BBM) was at once destroyed at attack to a post of the Ukrainian troops. One more group of the opponent (vanguard of the tactical group of terrorists which broke to Uglegorsk) near the road towards Debaltsevo was covered with the Ukrainian artillery, having lost 2 more tanks, 2 BBM, and at least 3 trucks. As a result the opponent stopped approach to Debaltsevo and began withdrawal to Uglegorsk, having left padded equipment.
For last days off (31.01-01.02) near the Debaltsevsky base Russian-terrorist troops tried to increase the tactical density of the divisions conducting active military operations by massaging of forces and means on certain directions. Besides, on Uglegorsk the direction is noted attempt of their echeloning for the purpose of creation of a tactical reserve for input "in break".
Transfer through Makeyevka and Enakiyevo, and also Alchevsk and Stakhanov of reinforcements for the formations of the opponent conducting battles around Debaltsevo for restoration of their fighting capacity after the losses suffered during the previous attempts to surround group of the Ukrainian troops on the base is noted. In total for the last days terrorists threw to this area about 55 units of armored machinery (35 units – through Makeyevka and Enakiyevo, 20 units - through Alchevsk). Also transfer of manpower is noted (generally covered trucks, but also partially on armor). In total it is thrown more than 1 200 persons.
Continuation of the engineering works which are carried out by the opponent on certain sites around to the north Yasinovatsky outcome and also to the north of N of the item of Panteleymonovk, and attempt to occupy favorable boundaries and positions (transport knots and outcomes, heights, intersections and overpasses) is noted. Also the opponent tries to become stronger along the route Gorlovka – Donetsk for the purpose of cover of the back and the left flank of the group concentrated for actions around Debaltsevo.
In the Kuibyshev, Kiev and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk command of Russian-terrorist troops carries out a regrouping of the formations, seeking to allocate also part of forces in a tactical reserve. Fitting with arms, military equipment and manpower takes place "in the planned mode so far", however tends to prolongation in connection with events round Debaltsevo.
In Donetsk explosions were resulted by the fire at plant PAO "Donetskgormash" (enters into System Capital Management holding of R. Akhmetov). In the territory of this enterprise "the advanced repair shop of armored machinery" of Russian-terrorist troops, and also a transshipment warehouse of ammunition for ensuring formations of the terrorists operating near Donetsk settles down.
