The Ukrainian authorities conduct negotiations with the international donors on receiving at least $15 mdrd during the near future for the purpose of stabilization of national currency and balancing of the state budget.

Declared it on Friday in Washington after completion of visit to the USA of the deputy head the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Pristayko, the Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform.

"The IMF, the World bank, certain partners, including the United States, are now ready to collect a package which will help Ukraine to survive in this hard time, to stabilize currency and to balance our budget. The sum about which we speak, big are about $15 mdrd. We consider that it is that sum which is necessary to us now", - marked out the deputy minister.

According to him, chances of Ukraine to receive such help "depend on that, how many each partner will be able to allocate". It is supposed that the main part of financing will be provided by the IMF which has to decide on the decision soon. Besides the financial organizations it is told also about the help from the USA, EU countries, directly European Union.

As for time frames of granting the credits, the representative noted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "It would be desirable to receive the first tranches within the next two months, but in general we say that such financing is necessary for us this year".

Let's remind, earlier the head of fund Christine Lagarde declared that the IMF will increase financing of Ukraine on condition of stabilization of a situation in the country.

It is known that the government of Ukraine requested from the IMF to consider possibility of opening of the new program with expanded crediting (Extended Fund Facility, EFF), for replacement of the existing stand-by program.

Earlier it was reported that mission of the IMF which planned to complete negotiations by Ukraine concerning continuation of cooperation on January 29, prolonged the work in Kiev.
