The next statements of fighters for allegedly formation of a copper near the Debaltsevsky base are not true. On the contrary forces of ATO put in this area for last some days huge losses by the forward.

"As for Zakharchenko's statement: recently many statements are distributed. But yesterday events near the Debaltsevsky base, in particular, of the district of Uglegorsk, accurately showed that the one who will try us to attack, will be hit "on teeth". Yesterday fighters "" were hit on teeth. Information on allegedly closing of any "copper" around Debaltsevo is not true", - Seleznyov told, commenting on the statement of one of leaders of terrorists on Donbass Alexander Zakharchenko that Russian-terrorist forces allegedly managed "to close" so-called "copper" in Debaltsevo.

He added that fighters carried out "rather powerful" approach near Uglegorsk yesterday, however by complex measures of the mechanized and artillery divisions of forces of ATO were broken. "Now losses of fighters are specified by our investigation and will be published subsequently, the previous losses of terrorists were sounded yesterday by the press center of ATO", - the acting speaker of the General Staff specified.

Commenting on Zakharchenko's proposal to be given the "surrounded" Ukrainian military around Debaltsevo, Seleznyov answered the following: "I think that better me our soldiers who are on a front line answer and serve on posts and strong points and give worthy repulse to fighters and destroy their manpower and equipment".

As reported the day before the press center of ATO, the Ukrainian military on January 29, according to preliminary data killed 22 fighters, 48 wounded. The opponent suffered losses also in military equipment. Forces of ATO destroyed 6 enemy armored combat vehicles and 4 guns.

At the same time according to the specified data, on January 28 losses of terrorists made 73 killed and 170 wounded. Fighters of ATO destroyed 13 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 12 guns, 20 units of automotive vehicles and nine units of BM-21 "Hail".
