The Ukrainian authorities have to give help to the International criminal court quickly

Council of the EU urged Ukraine to accelerate assistance to the Hague tribunal. It is told about it in the conclusions of Council of the EU made today in Brussels following the results of an extraordinary meeting on consideration of a situation in Ukraine.

"Council urges the Ukrainian authorities to take quickly intended legal measures allowing the International criminal court to consider the estimated crimes against humanity committed in the territory of Ukraine in 2014-2015", - the document says.

Let's remind, Council of the EU also condemned attack on January 24 by the pro-Russian fighters of Mariupol and escalation of a situation in Donbass and emphasizes in this regard responsibility of Russia. Council of the EU expects that Russia uses the influence and "will induce separatists to stop immediately hostile actions and completely to fulfill the obligations according to the Minsk arrangements". The speech, in particular, goes about the termination of military operations and a conclusion of heavy arms from a safety zone along the line of differentiation that is provided by the Minsk memorandum.

Besides, the decision on extension for half a year (till September, 2015) individual sanctions is made on natural persons of the Russian Federation which validity period expires in March.

On January 24 terrorists of DNR and the Russian military fired at 09:25 at east suburbs of Mariupol from "Gradov". The State Office of Public Prosecutor qualified attack of Mariupol as act of terrorism. According to the estimates of DONOGA, damages from attack of the city are assessed almost at 100 million UAH. The death toll reached 31 persons, and wounded - 108.
