The parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe adopted the amendment to the resolution on Ukraine in which it is told about inadmissibility of financing of terrorism from the Russian Federation.

As it was reported earlier, the Ukrainian deputies registered a number of tough amendments to the resolution. In particular, one of them suggested PACE to accept an appeal to the Russian Federation "from now on to abstain from financing of terrorism in Ukraine, to give support to the illegal armed groups, and also to affect the Russian Federation for implementation of the Minsk agreements".

According to norms of PACE, such appeals extend only in a case when such actions were repeatedly carried out in the past. Thus, this norm means indirect recognition by assembly of that financing of terrorism and other specified actions now takes place.
