The United States consider statements of the leader of so-called "DNR" Alexander Zakharchenko as anything other, as expression of true intentions of Russian government.

It was declared on Monday at a meeting of UNSC across Ukraine by the constant representative of the USA to this Organization Samantha Pauer the Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform

"Separatists whom he (Zakharchenko) heads, had training in Russia. And when Zakharchenko brags that can seize the territory outside the line coordinated in Minsk when he says that is not interested in negotiations, he speaks not only about intentions of separatists in this case, he speaks about intentions of Russia", - the representative of the USA declared.

She also emphasized that statements of the leader of Donetsk terrorists for Russia are an inconvenient problem - "they too are frank".

Pauer explained why Mariupol and Debaltsevo, approach on which were declared by Zakharchenko, are so important for fighters and Russian government.

"Mariupol is a port, possibility of sea deliveries, and also opportunity to get access by land to illegally occupied Crimea. And Debaltsevo is a transport knot. Therefore it is not casual that these strategic cities are the purpose of Russia", - the American representative.
