The Kremlin increases the fighting potential of the military and air forces in the territory of the occupied Crimea, illegally using the VSU airfield network

The Ukrainian investigation recorded activization of the Russian military aircraft in territories, border with Ukraine. It at a briefing was declared by the deputy head of SNBO Information and analysis center Vladimir Polevoy, the correspondent Ligabissnesinform reports.

According to him, in military airfield in Rostov-on-Don numerous landings of the transport Il-76 planes with unknown freight are recorded.

"The Russian Federation increases the fighting potential of the military and air forces in the territory of the occupied Crimea, illegally using an airfield network of Armed forces of Ukraine. Actions for expansion of system of basing of shock attack aircraft are realized. Points strengthening of the Russian amphibious units by the Mi-24 helicopters and the Il-76 military transport planes to it", - he added.

The field reminded that at the beginning of January in military airfield near Jankoi was placed to 50 units of the Russian shock helicopters.

"As a part of sea aircraft of the Black Sea fleet the separate regiment of unmanned aerial vehicles is formed. These days the sea aircraft of the Black Sea fleet of the Russian Federation carries out educational and fighting flights with start-up of rockets on the ground Opuk (Kerch Peninsula). For ensuring flights all airfields of sea aircraft which are now operated by the Black Sea fleet of Russia" are involved, - the speaker of SNBO added.
