
The bureau of parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe really made the decision that Nadezhda Savchenko will have the international immunity which obliges to free the Russian Federation it.
The president of PACE Anne Brasseur reported about it at a press conference in Strasbourg, the Censor.NET with reference to Evropravda.
"Today the meeting of PACE Bureau (steering committee) took place. In particular, we studied and discussed a question that Nadezhda Savchenko could not arrive to Strasbourg", - she reported .
"Rules of PACE claim that on members of assembly immunity extends. All of us have not only inviolability for session (in Strasbourg), but also have to have the immunity necessary for session visit. That is the country of (Russia) has to lift all limits for a trip of the deputy on a meeting", - Brasseur explained.
"Therefore if one of deputies is behind a lattice, he has to be released by the power which holds it", - she specified.
Anne Brasseur added that formally such decision is not made yet, the procedural committee to which the offer of Bureau is sent has to approve it, however the president of PACE has no doubts that the necessary decision will be made.
"We told our Russian colleagues that they have to release Savchenko if you wishif you wish to work according to our rules (Council of Europe)", - Brasseur.
