NATO considers the greatest threats to global security of the Russian aggression and world terrorism.

As the press service of the Pentagon, the results of the two-day meeting of NATO leaders in Brussels said the head of the joint chiefs of staff U.S. Martin Dempsey, according to the Censor.NET with reference to the Ukrainian truth.

He recalled that the Russian aggression "changed sovereign boundaries using pressure". In the same context, he recalled the recent terrorist attack in Paris, which demonstrated a "very real threat of terrorism coming from the southern flank of NATO."

According to Dempsey, NATO leaders came to the conclusion about the necessity of confronting these threats.

"We agreed that NATO really should deal with both threats, and that NATO has the ability and resources to do it. We don't have to choose which of the threats is more important," he said.

Dempsey added that Eastern Europeans are very worried about the threat from the East, and South - South.
