Dalia Grybauskaite says that the last time she met with Vladimir Putin back in 2010, during his tenure as Prime Minister. The next meeting, according to her, there will be "not in the near future - only when Russia will behave differently."
Under such a behavior of the Russian Federation she says - "we see the difference between a country that is protected, and an aggressor country, which not only attacks and supports terrorists, but behaves like a terrorist".
According to the President, Lithuania already provides a variety of military assistance to Ukraine: "We are doing everything possible. There are many forms of support: participation of Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian battalion, where Ukrainian soldiers can train, and the help of our instructors, and treatment of Ukrainian soldiers in our hospitals."
However, she made clear that military assistance is not limited. "The rest are state secrets," she added.
Commenting on the refusal of President Vladimir Putin from the project "South stream" Grybauskaite said: "he is Not stopped, and stopped him. The European Union, at least in this project, showed the inadmissibility of the use of oil and gas as tools of political pressure".
According to the Lithuanian President, if Putin failed to stop, he would move further inland Europe, using not only economic means".
