We categorically reject the arguments of the Russian side regarding the automatic acquisition of these citizens of Ukraine citizenship of the Russian Federation in connection with its legal nullity and contrived. Recall that force automatic granting Russian citizenship to residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is a gross violation of their human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as the norms and principles of international humanitarian law and international obligations of the Russian Federation as a member of the occupant under article 45 of the Hague Convention of 1907 and article 47 of the Convention on the protection of civilian persons in time of war of 1949.

Unfounded accusations and illegal detention is a clear proof that Acting Sentsov, O. Crna, O., Kolchenko, and Afanasev as MP N. Savchenko, as well as other citizens of Ukraine, which is now against their will are held on the territory of the Russian Federation, are political hostages aggressive policy of Russia against Ukraine.
