The national Council on television and radio broadcasting has recognized the Russian TV channel "Rain" that meets the requirements of the European Convention on transfrontier television and the current legislation of Ukraine.

According to the Censor.NET with a link to the website of the national Council, the decision was taken at a meeting of the regulatory authority.

"Monitoring is not recorded broadcast of this information channel content, which would not meet the requirements of Ukrainian legislation. Besides, LLC "TV Channel "Rain" ensures compliance with domestic legislation", - said in a statement.

The Council also noted that "Rain", he appealed to the national Council with the appropriate application.

Note that previously the Council recognized the TV channel "Belarus 24" relevant to the European Convention on transfrontier television and the requirements of current legislation of Ukraine.
