The Polish defence Minister Tomasz Samonac believes Ukraine's accession to NATO and the European Union inevitable. He said this on air Radio Zet.

"Ukraine must comply with the standards, and above all Ukrainian society should seek membership in NATO. Nobody in the world has no right to block it. I think this is an inevitable process, and Ukraine in NATO and in the EU", - quotes the European true Minister.

Samonac noted that the Declaration of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko waiver non-aligned status is the first step to joining NATO. He also stressed that the Alliance should be open for new members and for Ukraine in particular.

In addition, the Polish defence Minister has accepted the position of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. "President Lukashenko sees which way is Putin's policies, and countries such as Kazakhstan, Belarus is not without reason may be afraid of what will become the next victims followed by Ukraine," said Samonac.

Earlier, the Polish foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna said that words Poroshenko about the abolition of the non-aligned status will not bring Ukraine closer to NATO. In his opinion, Ukraine should make a priority of the European integration, and only then think about joining NATO.
