Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian people struggling for their freedom, dignity and the opportunity to follow his chosen path. Ukrainians have already paid for their freedom very high price. Speaking about the annexation of the Crimea, the President said: "We will never put up with such developments. The struggle for the return of the Crimea will continue until, until you restore justice and historical truth".

The President thanked for their support of Ukraine, in particular, the United States of America for the adoption of the Act in support of freedom of Ukraine, as well as Canada, Japan, Australia and European countries. "The Ukrainian fight for their independence, territorial integrity, sovereignty was the moment of truth in our relations with the countries of the world," said Poroshenko.

Poroshenko said that the European and Euro - Atlantic integration is no alternative path for Ukraine. This is why he proposed to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on refusal from non-aligned status of Ukraine. "Belonging to Europe is the only possible form of existence of the state of Ukraine", - said the President, noting that the signing of the 2014 year of the Association Agreement with the EU was a strategic step, and the regime will do everything possible to carry out reforms and to implement the Agreement.

The President asked the audience to ambassadors with a request to support Ukraine. "I appeal to the world: I ask you to join us in our fight. Join Ukraine in her case - the cause of peace, reform and assertion of human dignity and freedom," said Poroshenko.
