State self-supporting foreign trade and investment firm "Ukrinmash, a part of the state concern "Ukroboronprom", signed a contract with Defense Technology Inc. (USA) on delivery antiminority radars AN/TPQ-49 for the Department of defense.

This is stated in the message "Ukroboronprom", according to the Censor.NET with reference to Ukrainian news.

"The latest counter fire radars AN/TPQ-49 for the Ministry of defence of Ukraine will deliver early in the new year. The contract with the American company Defense Technology Inc. signed State self-supporting foreign trade and investment firm "Ukrinmash", part "Ukroboronprom", - is said in it.

According to the report, counter fire radars AN/TPQ-49 can be effective countering of enemy artillery.

These devices are able to immediately identify the location, which is under fire missile and artillery systems.
The range is from 50 meters to 10 kilometers.

The accuracy of the coordinates of the enemy to 75 meters at a distance of 5 kilometers.
