Answering the question, does Ukraine have a chance to return the Crimea, Kasparov said that it depends on the change of the political regime in Russia. "I believe that Russia postulancy no choice. This is a serious question, which does not want to speak Russian opposition thought. It is a painful way back, because the level of trust in Russia without Putin will be extremely low. If the new Russian government wants to restore the prestige of the country, you will have to do a lot of painful things," he said.

Commenting on the view that sanctions should not touch ordinary Russians, Kasparov said: "I fundamentally disagree with those representatives of the Russian opposition, who say that sanctions should not touch ordinary Russians.
