The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko plans to take part on May 9 in Minsk in parade on the occasion of Victory anniversary in the Great Patriotic War.

"The president will be on May 9 in Minsk. We have on May 9 such parade as in Moscow", - Lukashenko declared to journalists on Saturday in Minsk, answering a question, whether he will take part in parade in Minsk.

He emphasized that, "except the commander-in-chief, nobody will review the troops" .

Lukashenko added that on May 7-8 will be able to visit with the Belarusian delegation Moscow and, in particular, to take part in wreath-laying ceremony to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The president of Belarus also reminded that on May 8 in Moscow carrying out a number of actions within the Euroasian CSTO and CIS economic union is planned. "I can't but take in it part. But I will try on May 8 even if at night, to come back home, and on May 9 to carry out parade. I so plan today", - Lukashenko emphasized.
