But on the front reaches a large number of inexperienced people who need a system of basic knowledge about the organization of combat actions, which need at least basic knowledge about the real situation and priorities, at least a basic understanding of the theory. - The main reason that helps to successfully survive and fight on the front?
First - professional training. I still have some of our officers behind a great school - great military school and trained as a gunner, then long service in one of the best parts of the special Armed forces, where I went through all the initial steps. Trained officers, good selection of fighters, good level of training, fighting arrangement.
The second factor is luck. We are fortunate that did not meet the enemy, who would able us to outwit, lucky that we were shock unit and we didn't have to sit for weeks under the shelling, to get hit by large forces of heavy vehicles.
- How did You prepare for the trip to the ATO? Obviously, giving a good weapon untrained people makes no sense. How to organize the training? How to do it in a military context, when there is no time for training? And what do you need?
- Those people who come into the army from civil life, have a very good training. Need to involve specialists. But the experts should be drawn from those who have already participated in the fighting and has some experience. In our situation, we called and asked to conduct training of veterans of the war in Afghanistan. They gave us objective information about the capabilities of the units. Sure, if you now call the bulk of the former Afghans with good combat experience and merit, to build a system of military training, technique, material support, we can expand quite professional training centers for accelerated training of a large number of soldiers. This is the most optimal way. Now an adequate system of combat training does not exist.
- We need a fully stocked parts that can solve a variety of tasks. Even in conditions of non-contact war we can't fight the forces of only one special forces. Exploration should interact with artillery. Cover and movement must ensure that the armed group.
- Yes, needed the diverse forces with good coherence. And people need motivated and fired at. Yes, we need to inhuman training system. And that's a tactical group should prepare a unified system of military training. To compete spetsnaz, we, the professionals, preparing month - intensive, so that barely feet to night predigest. And untrained people should be taught more than one month. And there is no other way.
We have a key question that prevent us from effectively conducting offensive operations is an acute shortage of competent non-commissioned officers and officers, those people who lead departments, take tactical decisions. We all had a great motivation. We all wanted to fight, was still looking for a use. The first shot no one was afraid.
- What is the level of operational planning of combat operations?
The command simply sets the task without thinking on how to perform, how to come out to live all left. The task is: "Go. And there will understand." Just aim and time.

"I commanded a group of about 70-80 fighters.
