Lily Bolbat (Liliya Ukrainian). To help the army beginning in early may, when in Mariupol was part of the 72nd brigade.

About this on his page in Facebook wrote the Cyborgs-2015 - art project about the heroes of our time.

Then the city was DNR. In the center, In the building of the city Council were armed thugs, the police were not, authorities were not. But on all major exits from the city were military.

Then I just couldn't go past. In addition to armored cars, machines and forms Dubok they had nothing. Drove up, asked what... Answer: nothing... They shied away from us like the plague. Thought we were all separatists from Donbass.

- ask, ed? Head shake - no. Went to the store and grabbed from the shelves of all the tinned meat, water something. Gradually the military began to trust us. They began to tell me that he still had. Remember when the rain has gone and the military were under the APC. There was nowhere to hide. And away: tents, raincoats, flashlights, uniforms, t-shirts, underwear, shoes, cables, spotlights, chargers, radios, medicines, personal care products, mattresses, pillows, blankets... Find TVs, refrigerators on posts. Pulled with home all they could. Remember came to my parents, took from the kitchen a small TV. Say, dad, it's just for a couple of months, soon the war will end and return. The TV is already 1.5 years on the job. Spent salary, bonus, gradually pulled all of the deferred savings to buy a car. Then about money I never thought the main thing was to help. With the second active Mariupol took control of each block post around town. Written off in a closed group. Helped each other. The posts were every day and sometimes several times a day. We were being watched by the supporters of DND, rented our car at the video when we came to office. From that moment on I stopped sleeping at night. It was scary. Beside the bed lay a loaded gun just in case. At night, militants with machine guns were patrolling the city, looting shops, burning buildings, stealing people.

June 13, 2014 Mariupol was liberated by the Ukrainian military volunteers. You have no idea what it was joy. We then had no idea what was ahead of us.

Each unit that came into the sector "M" we took care of. Helped, received and delivered to the address of the parcel, drove to the banks, the notaries, in the hospital. A lot of what he did, Were the so-called shepherds in the garden. Something like Simic. Our phones labeled "people you can trust and ask for help", the military began to transfer, during rotation, the newly arrived.

When Novoazovskiy district began firing from the territory of the Russian Federation and began comes to DRG, I realized that we need to dig bunkers. Then helped to speed up the process. Find excavators, concrete slabs for roofing the dugouts, concrete blocks for the block of posts, bags, sand and even organized a gathering of people for digging trenches. Then men of Mariupol, took shovels did everything to help the military to protect our vegetable garden.

On August 25, Russian army has invaded and captured Novoazovsk and a few tanks moved to Mariupol. I will never forget this day, because it was my birthday. Early in the morning the phone rang. I also thought that somebody decided to congratulate me. But instead of congratulations, I heard, quickly pack your things and move to the city are tanks. Cried and threw the Essentials into a bag. I could not believe that this is all now happening to me. The attack on the city was repulsed. The enemy got closer. Remember realized that not cope on their own, the money ran out, the salary of the war was in the case less. Did your Facebook page visible to all and wrote that I volunteer and help our army. Started helping friends and strangers. In addition to the needs of the checkpoints, appeared wards of the special forces groups. The priority has always done and still do on optics: thermal imaging devices, night sights and night vision devices. And bought and machine, uniforms, boots, knives, jackets and much more which helps to survive the military... I live in the war for 1.5 years... I'm doing everything to protect his hometown and to help those who protects him. For me, Mariupol has always been, is and will be Ukraine. Friends volunteers as a joke, I started to call the fairy of sector "M"))

After Ilovaisky boiler, many began to write, that helped to pull out of captivity's family. Threw off the terrible video, which they learned of their loved ones. Knowing what desperate people are and at the same time not understanding how I can help you all the same decided to try. Here are many people to thank who responded, but most importantly, all the guys I asked - returned to their families.

Many dangerous things were: and the face in the mud lay under the whistle min, and that of hail managed to leave a minute before the fire. But the worst thing I experienced, when my house was shelled. January 24, 2015 morning, the militants shelled the residential district "Vostochniy" of Mariupol from multiple rocket launchers "Grad". About 120 rounds were fired on the city. Frankly: I then lay on the floor in the hallway and thought that was the end. I was lucky. The shells passed by my apartment, just a few metres away. The street was hell. Everything was in smoke and fire. Trashed house Windows, around lay bodies of people.... Our car caught fire. Arrived on time and the SWAT team pulled her out of the fire. Charred, with broken Windows and damaged doors miraculously it started up and I went to the city. At me very strongly influenced by this attack. Even when we returned to Mariupol and rented an apartment farther from the outskirts of the city, on the East I was able to go only after 3 months. And then not to live, just things. He who does not know that this castle will never understand how scary it is. Believe me, I have heard many times how it lands while in the castle a couple of kilometers, but nothing more terrible I'm not worried, when the shells beat on our houses. But for me anyway it didn't break. Back in town and continued to help our defenders. Sometimes help the military in other sectors. Sometimes children in orphanages, sometimes to refugees that have lost their homes. Trying to help the guys who were wounded in the fighting for Mariupol.

Remember in the city was a holiday. All gathered in the center of the city, there were celebrations, and I stood in the hospital emergency room, in intensive care Next to our commandos who was blown up on the stretch and he severed foot. Tried to find the right words to cheer, as the tears streamed down. Now, thanks to the good people, he has a prosthesis and is learning walks.

I do not get for the holidays, I always do not have time. Always somewhere to run, someone trying to help. Even last New Year was like a holiday. Only 31 entered the city and at 19:00 it is delivered the parcel to the posts. But I was proud when thousands of Mariupol came out in embroidery on the city day. As it was beautiful. It was nice to read a commendable comments from different corners of our country. We're 1.5 years trying to prove throughout Ukraine, in Mariupol wool, and that many in the patriots and at the same time trying to show the world and Russia that the Russian world is here no one is waiting.
Frantic pace of life is exhausted. Honestly, I'm tired. Health began to falter. And there were a lot of disappointments lately. But when such reports come from the military, I understand that everything I do is not in vain!

"Lily don't know did little to convey to you all the warmth and gratitude... Well it would not be me without you.. would be another unknown.. Thank you.... You May have covered today, but for the first time correctly.. wouldn't be me without people like you.. I owe you for his life... We are just stones ... You connect us together. Without you is a sign of our stumble, we with you Stan ... Thank you. You're dearer many, on par with the brothers there, you're my sister. We are living, just breathing, because you have. Hang in there, we got the mountain, we are for you life. Remember! "

The only thankful for what this war is for the people that I met. People with a big heart, ready for all to come to the rescue in a difficult moment. People are heroes! Military, volunteers, doctors, just civilians from all over the country and not only. In dark times it is well visible light. The war became a great filter.

I'm from the Donbas, speak Russian. Fluent in the Ukrainian language. Love to Ukraine did not come to me that's just this war. I did not have some insight. I have always admired our country and our people. I - Ukrainian! And I'm proud! The war took away many things that I love... literally - took what belonged to me. All the while trying not to think about it, because my immense hatred towards those who came to our earth can make me wither... focus on what you love. Love my country, love the people, love my family . With love in my heart easier to fight. But forgive those who betrayed the family - I could never do.

And I believe that we will win and liberate our territory. And Ukraine will get stronger and become a strong state. Small steps we can change our country for the better. Everyone just needs to do what he can. Not yelling in the ass, not to criticize but to get off the couch and start to do something.

On 23 June, in Lviv, Bolbat Lily presented the highest non-government award "national hero of Ukraine"
