Within the Polish-American military exercises near Warsaw the American air defense systems of Patriot are placed.

Maneuvers of Atlantic Resolve take place on the ground in the city of Sakhachev in 50 kilometers from the Polish capital. One of tasks which military will work during doctrines, - a peradislokation of the Patriot.

Poland has no own air defense system yet and within the next weeks is going to choose the company supplier of the corresponding complex. Except the American company Raytheon which makes the Patriot rockets, the consortium of the French firm Thales and the European group MBDA with the SAMP/T complexes participates in the tender. As the Minister of Defence of Poland Tomasz Semonyak declared, until the end of April the first recommendations in this question will be accepted.

The minister focused attention on close cooperation of its country with the USA, having noted that both states are members and partners already more than one and a half tens years. "If necessary the United States will stand on our party", - he told in the presence of the American ambassador Stephen Mahlo. That, in turn, declared that the purpose of doctrines - to show that "promises of the American allies - something bigger, than simply words on paper".

The head of defensive department of Poland Semonyak confirmed that for the last year presence of the American troops in the country was record - both in number of manpower, and in scales of doctrines. "It is the allied answer that occurs in the east of Europe", - he noted. This year, according to him, interaction in the field of defense will be not smaller: "We expect even more American soldiers and allies in Poland" .
