At a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council the president Petro Poroshenko suggested to enter to Donbass peacekeepers from the European Union.

He noted, addressing to members of the National Security and Defense Council: "Today it will be offered to you to discuss the invitation to Ukraine of UN peacekeepers which will work according to the mandate of the UN Security Council. The best format - police mission of the European Union" .
